In Balance Foundation: Making Futures Possible, One Step at a Time, LLC is a not-for-profit that was born to combat addiction and mental health. In this country, we are losing a young person to drug overdose every 19 minutes. We believe that we have between 22 and 25 million people who suffer every day from drug and alcohol dependence and mental health issues. We also know about 1.2 million of them are in treatment today. Therefore, we know the need is out there. We know that treatment works. We know that people get better and then get out and make a difference in the world. That's what motivates us every day to do the work we do and if we can expand our net to help more people that can’t help themselves because of financial limitations, we feel strongly that it would be a worthwhile endeavor.
